Engineering

Technical Project Manager

📍 Hazlet, NJ 07730 Hybrid Full-Time · Permanent $110,000 – $140,000 / yr

Spartan Capital is a fast-growing fintech company dedicated to providing innovative financial solutions. The Commercial Lending Technical Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the software development team and various Spartan Capital departments. The TPM is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of Dev Spartan's Fully Automated Loan Servicing Platform — including an automated credit risk decision engine powered by APIs, AI Agents, and Taktile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Drive sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Oversee data processes using SQL to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Manage the entire RFP process — from initial request through vendor selection.
  • Oversee delivery of the Credit Risk Platform: model pipelines, automated decision engines, APIs, and data integrations built on AWS, SQL, and Snowflake.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Business Administration, Finance, IT, or Engineering preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing technical projects.
  • Experience with loans, loan products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
  • Proficiency in BI tooling (Power BI, Tableau) or SQL/Python.
  • PMP certification a plus.
